Through the Raising Voices project, the Digital Marketing Sector Council (DMSC), NPower Canada, Jelly Academy and Influencer Mentoring Society, seek to build a bridge for underserved Indigenous talent, equipping them with in-demand micro-credentials and paid work experience with Canada’s leading employers in order to obtain meaningful digital marketing careers.
Through this project, education partners Jelly Academy and NPower Canada will rapidly upskill 20 Indigenous job seekers. Jelly Academy will be upskilling participants to gain 11 industry recognized micro-credentials in Digital Marketing. NPower Canada will provide additional professional development and wraparound support to these participants, in addition to recruitment, intake, and job placement support. Influencer Mentoring Society will provide career acceleration and mentorship.
Our employment partners will provide each program participant with a 12 month paid internship. The Digital Marketing Sector Council is proud to oversee this project.

About The Logo
“When crafting this logo, I drew inspiration from the Anishnaabe creation story, "Sky Woman." It's a tribute to our Indigenous roots, grounding us in our connection to Turtle Island while reaching for excellence. It's about staying rooted in our heritage as we strive for a brighter future, just like our ancestors did with their feet firmly planted on the earth. “
